One million masks
Historically Capital of Seamstresses, Belo Horizonte Capital of Fashion, today sees a movement in the sector in order to meet the great demand for masks, in the fight to prevent the increase of contamination by COVID-19.
The movement started with some entrepreneurs who, spontaneously and voluntarily, organized themselves to produce masks to meet requests for donations from hospitals and philanthropic entities in the metropolitan region.
The project has the support and participation of CEDTec, DESIS Lab at the State University of Minas Gerais.
